I've made basically every mistake you're about to make. That's the point.
I started detailing while I was still in school, with nothing. No system for getting customers — if I wanted work, I had to go find it myself. Doors, content, whatever it took.
At some point I realised I couldn't keep thinking like someone who cleans cars. If I wanted something bigger, I had to actually learn how to build a business — not just get better at detailing.
Going full-time solved one problem and created ten more. I couldn't do everything myself, so I started hiring. I've gone through more than 20 employees to figure out how to do that properly — bad hires, people going behind my back, all of it.
Every time I fixed one thing, the next bottleneck showed up: leads, sales, fulfilment, quality control, cash flow, getting myself out of the day-to-day. The business eventually grew into an 8-person operation doing $100k+ months.
The biggest lesson: what got the business from $0 to $10k wasn't what got it to $30k. What got it to $30k wasn't what took it past $100k. Every stage has a different bottleneck — and you can't see your own from inside it.
That's why Inner Circle exists. Not to hand you more information. To look at your business, tell you what I'd actually do in your position, and make sure you do it.
